Overview
The Source of Hope is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Digital Content Creator & Producer to design and manage multimedia content for digital campaigns, social media, and media productions. This role involves capturing and editing videos, creating graphics, and assisting in the production of The QC Show and radio broadcasts that showcase community impact.
The ideal candidate combines creativity with technical skill in video editing, branding, and digital storytelling, while working closely with the marketing and communications teams to expand the organization’s online presence.

Compensation
This is an unpaid Emerging Professional internship offering mentorship and professional experience in nonprofit event planning and community outreach.
Schedule
August 3, 2026 - December 10, 2026 (subject to change, will be confirmed via email)
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (at Plano Chamber of Commerce): 9 AM – 1 PM / 2 PM (flexible)
- Friday (at Clinic): 9 AM - 1 PM / 2 PM (flexible)
- 15-20 hours per week
- Since 20 hours is the maximum, the number of days / exact days of attendance are flexible.
- For example, both variations: M-Th (9 AM - 1 PM) and M, T, Th, F (9 AM - 2 PM) meet the hours requirement.

Qualifications
- Experience in social media content creation and digital storytelling
- Proficiency in video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
- Strong eye for design and branding using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Understanding of SEO, analytics, and audience engagement preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment
- Positive attitude and passion for visual storytelling
Eligibility
- Must be Work-Study eligible and have a completed FAFSA on file
- Must be enrolled as a current college student with a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must be available for the listed office and event hours
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pursuing or interested in Digital Media, Film, Marketing, or Communications
- Previous experience in content creation, photography, or videography preferred
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality video, photo, and graphic content for campaigns and social media
- Edit and format content for various platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook)
- Collaborate with the creative and communications teams on storytelling initiatives
- Support production of The QC Show and radio recordings (setup, filming, editing)
- Capture behind-the-scenes media during community events
- Maintain organized media files and assist in digital archiving
- Contribute to branding consistency across all visual content
- Participate in Serving Hope community events (4th Saturday, 6 AM – 1 PM)
