About the Role
We are looking for energetic, engaging, and student-focused English Language Instructors to teach learners aged 6–14 years in a live online classroom environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young learners, develop their communication and literacy skills, and become part of a fast-growing international education company.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and interactive online English lessons for students aged 6–14.
• Create a positive and encouraging classroom environment where students feel confident to participate.
• Adapt premade lessons to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Use creative teaching strategies, games, discussions, and activities to enhance learning.
• Provide constructive feedback that supports student growth and progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in training sessions and team meetings.
• Continuously develop your teaching practice through feedback and professional learning opportunities.
Work Schedule
Monday, Wednesday & Friday
- 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Sydney Time: Team meetings and collaboration
Monday to Friday (only need to ensure availibility for 2 cohorts)
- 9:00 AM- 11:00 AM Sydney Time: American student cohorts
- 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM Sydney Time: Australian student cohorts
- 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM Sydney Time: UK and Middle East student cohorts
Saturdays
- Generally flexible and self-managed
- May include occasional classes or special community events
Teaching Load
- Maximum of4 live classes per day, providing ample time for lesson preparation, student feedback, professional development, and collaboration with colleagues.
Qualifications
Required:
• Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience or experience working with children
• Bachelor's degree in:
- Education
- English Literature
- English Linguistics
- Creative Writing
- Language Studies
- Or a related field
• Excellent spoken and written English skills
• Strong communication and classroom management abilities
• Comfortable teaching in an online environment
• Growth mindset and willingness to learn new teaching approaches and technologies
Preferred
• Professional Teaching License
• Cambridge Teaching Certification
• Experience teaching English, literacy, reading, or language arts
• Experience with online teaching platforms and virtual classrooms
