The Opportunity:
As a Matchmaker Intern, you'll serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of clients while working directly with the founder to help build and scale an early-stage startup. You'll gain hands-on leadership experience by managing a team of Match Operations Specialists who execute the day-to-day matchmaking process under your direction, while also gaining firsthand exposure to startup operations, AI-enabled workflows, and business development.
Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to help people navigate one of the most meaningful aspects of life: finding a long-term partner. Clients will trust you with deeply personal details about their relationships, values, goals, insecurities, and life experiences. Your role is to build that trust, understand what makes each person unique, and guide them through a journey that has the potential to genuinely change their lives.
This role begins at 10 hours per week, with opportunities for increased responsibility and hours as both you and the company grow.
You'll have real ownership, meaningful client interactions, and the opportunity to influence how our systems, processes, and client experience evolve as we scale up operations
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned matchmaking clients
- Lead onboarding conversations and recurring client meetings
- Build trusted relationships while providing guidance and accountability throughout the matchmaking process
- Collaborate with our operations and technology teams to ensure clients receive an exceptional experience
- Identify ways to improve our client journey, workflows, and internal processes
- Assist with business development initiatives, strategic partnerships, marketing, and growth efforts for 4Keeps Matchmaking
- Contribute ideas that help shape the future of the company

Performance Path:
- Month 1-2: $200/month stipend (training)
- After certification and successful client management: transition to an hourly paid role
