Childcare Activity Provider

A kind-hearted parent is seeking help for her 8-year-old son, who has special needs. This parent is seeking a childcare provider to take her son to fun activities in the community and keep him active, safe, and engaged.

Location:

- little chute, Wi

Available Shift:

20 hours a week

Weekend care

Pay Rate:

- $17.98/Hour

Tasks You Will Be Doing With The Child:

Providing 1:1 supervision

Mentor personal care tasks ( Applying deodorant, showering, etc.)

Provide Transportation to and from outings

Offer emotional support when needed

Activities

Engaging in de-escalation tactics as needed

Family Requirements:

Valid Driver’s Licenses and reliable vehicle.

High schoolers are welcome to apply

Able to pass a Wisconsin background check

Experience working with adults or children with complex needs ( Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, Autism, ADHD, ODD, Etc. )

Proven dependability

Willingness to learn and accept coaching

Committed to providing care for children with special needs.

Someone who can understand de-escalation
