About Wanderboat
Wanderboat is an AI-powered local discovery platform that helps people discover restaurants, cafés, attractions, and unique local experiences through conversational AI and visual content.
We’re expanding our local content coverage across San Francisco and looking for Food Explorers & Content Contributors who enjoy discovering restaurants, trying new places, and creating short-form content with their phones.
This is a flexible, project-based opportunity that can fit around school, another job, or your own schedule.
What You'll Do
- Explore restaurants, cafés, bakeries, bars, and other local spots across San Francisco.
- Capture short-form vertical videos using your smartphone.
- Film storefronts, interiors, menus, food, drinks, and other required content.
- Select available locations directly through the Wanderboat app.
- Upload your content through the app for review.
- Follow simple filming guidelines and content requirements.
- Share feedback and filming tips with our Food Explorer community.
You’re also welcome to explore and create content with friends — food discovery is often more fun together!
Who We're Looking For
This opportunity is a great fit for:

- People interested in food, social media, photography, or short-form video
- Anyone comfortable exploring different neighborhoods around San Francisco
You should:
- Have a smartphone with a good camera.
- Be comfortable traveling around San Francisco.
- Be reliable and able to follow filming guidelines.
- Be comfortable capturing food and restaurant content.
- Be available to participate approximately 2–5 days per week.
Previous content creation experience is a plus, but not required.
Compensation & Weekly Rewards

$120 per approved filming session
4 restaurant POIs, or 3 restaurants + 2 non-restaurant POIs - Flexible 2–5 days/week
- +$75 weekly bonus for completing 5 filming days
- Weekly payments based on approved submissions
- Referral bonuses may also be available
