About Wanderboat 

Wanderboat is an AI-powered local discovery platform that helps people find restaurants, cafés, and local experiences through conversational AI, maps, and visual content.

We’re collecting short videos of restaurant interiors, atmosphere, and dishes across San Francisco to help people discover local businesses and see what they offer.

We’re looking for contributors who have time to visit SF restaurants and capture videos using their phones. This is a paid, project-based gig that can fit around school, another job, or other commitments.

What You'll Do

Select Locations: Claim available restaurant POIs directly via the Wanderboat mobile app.

Visit & Capture: Travel to selected spots across SF and shoot brief, vertical video clips of storefronts, interiors, menus, and freshly plated food.

Upload via App: Submit your raw clips through the app following simple filming guidelines (no post-production editing required).

You should
Have a smartphone with a good camera.
Be comfortable traveling around San Francisco.
Be reliable and able to follow filming guidelines.
Be comfortable capturing food and restaurant content.
Participate based on your availability — no fixed weekly schedule required.
Previous content creation experience is a plus, but not required.

Compensation & Weekly Rewards

$120 per approved session (4 restaurant POIs, or 3 restaurants + 2 non-restaurant spots).

+$75 Weekly Bonus when you complete 5 filming sessions in a single week.

Payments processed weekly based on approved submissions.

Who We're Looking For

Owns a smartphone with a reliable, high-resolution camera.

Comfortable traveling around San Francisco neighborhoods.

Dependable, organized, and capable of following basic video composition guidelines.

Passionate about local food, culture, and social media/visual storytelling (prior creator experience is a plus, but not required).
