Youth Sports Instructor

At Super Soccer Stars and Amazing Athletes, children ages 18 months to 8 years old are taught the basic fundamentals of a wide variety of different sports in a fun, non-competitive environment!
We are nearing the beginning of our Summer season across Greater Boston and are seeking high-energy coaching individuals to join our rock star team!
Being able to have fun while you coach is a MUST. You should LOVE sports and working with children.
This is a part-time position, hiring primarily for those with Monday-Friday availability, with more weekend hours becoming available in the Fall depending upon schedule. You can expect anywhere from 5-10 hours of coaching Monday-Friday, working mornings and afternoons up to 5 days per week. There is priority hiring for applicants staying local once the Fall starts and would be able to continue coaching through that season as well!
Potential coaches should be prepared to travel up to 30-40 minutes to get to any particular location. Our primary locations where coaches would travel to for this position include (but are not limited to):
- Marblehead
- Billerica
- Reading

Requirements
- Recommended availability: Monday–Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Morning hours of 8am-12pm highly preferred).
- Most classes are taught in the morning and mid-afternoon
- Other hours may vary as needed
- Hours likely increase during summer programs
- Experience working with children 18 months – 8 years old
- General knowledge of sports and/or coaching children
- Dependable transportation and willingness to travel around Greater Boston and surrounding areas
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Clean criminal background check
- Ability to maintain professional and positive relationships with daycare teachers/directors and parents
- Available to start immediately
- Up to date and valid CPR/First Aid certification recommended, but not required.
Benefits
- Starting pay:
- $18-21/hour as an assistant coach depending on initial skill and experience
- $25+/hour as a head coach (can increase depending on improvements in skills, experience, and hours worked during the week)
