Physical Therapist - $2,000 Sign on Bonus

Premier Orthopeadics is currently seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our team of professionals. Our physical therapists work closely with the best and most advanced orthopedic surgeons.

Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, is seeking dedicated and skilled Physical Therapists to join our practice! Position Summary

The Physical Therapist assesses, treats, and manages patients with orthopedic conditions in an outpatient clinic setting. This role involves developing individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and patients, providing patient education, supervising Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides, and serving as a resource for the Physical Therapy team.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patient condition and establish goals, treatments, and care plans in conjunction with physicians, patients, and families
  • Ensure appropriate treatments are performed in an interdisciplinary manner, consulting with physicians on patient care
  • Document findings, treatments, and other patient information accurately in the medical record
  • Educate patients and families on therapies, exercises, and home care instructions
  • Serve as an information and education resource for patients, families, and staff
  • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy Aides
  • Support ongoing education and professional development of the Physical Therapy staff

Education:  

  • Bachelor’s degree and current certification as a physical therapist accepted
  • Master’s degree and current certification as a physical therapist accepted
  • Doctorate degree and current certification as a physical therapist accepted 

Licenses & Certifications: 

  • Current Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania (or eligible)
  • BLS Certificate Required

Experience:

  • Experience in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic preferred
  • New graduates encouraged to apply!!
