Junior Interior Designer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Paige Studio is seeking a full-time Junior Interior Designer to join our growing team in our East Dallas studio. This is an in-person position working directly alongside the Principal Designer to support every phase of the design process; from concept development and sourcing to construction documentation, procurement, installations, and project coordination.

 

This is an ideal opportunity for a recent Interior Design graduate who is eager to build a strong technical foundation while gaining hands-on experience in luxury residential design. You’ll play an active role in creating client presentations, developing design documentation, sourcing furnishings and finishes, attending site visits, coordinating with vendors, and supporting projects from initial concept through final installation.

 

As a growing boutique studio, every team member contributes in meaningful ways. You’ll have the opportunity to learn the complete project lifecycle, develop strong technical and organizational skills, and grow into increasing levels of responsibility as the studio continues to expand.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with finish, fixture, material, and furnishing selections
  • Create client presentations, mood boards, and design documentation
  • Produce and revise CAD drawings, SketchUp models, construction documents, and FFE proposals
  • Coordinate with vendors for pricing, lead times, and sample ordering
  • Prepare furniture, finish, and specification schedules
  • Support project management by documenting meeting notes, tracking action items, and maintaining project files
  • Attend site visits, installations, and assisting with construction administration and field reports
  • Assist with styling for installations and professional photography
  • Help maintain studio systems and organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited program (or Architecture from an accredited program)
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of design principles, color theory, and materiality.
  • Proficiency in. AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop & InDesign), Google Workspace (Sheets, Excel, Drive)
  • Positive attitude, self-starter, and willingness to learn.
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local project site visits
