Research Assistant Telephone Interviewer

Research Assistant Telephone Interviewers play a vital role at the Center for Social and Behavioral Research (CSBR). They primarily conduct scientific studies by making calls, asking survey questions to participants, and accurately recording the answers. Interviewers are required to be professional and courteous, have excellent communication skills, maintain confidentiality, and pay attention to fine detail. There are no telemarketing or political calls, and we do not ask for money. Interviewers may also be assigned other tasks to assist with research projects including paper survey data entry, simulated client calling, and mailing preparation.  

Current research topics: 
health risk behaviors, health insurance evaluation, tobacco & nicotine cessation evaluation

Mandatory training dates: 
Multiple Trainings Available - early August, late August, early September

Qualifications:

*AVAILABILITY IN EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS

*Minimum availability of 12 hours per week

*Ability to be persuasive

*Detail-oriented

*Speak English fluently

*Strong oral and written communication skills

*Ability to adapt to changing work schedules and project demands

*Starting pay of $16.00/hour
