Dual Drinks is a consumer product company bringing a new patented drinkware innovation to market: the Dual Tumbler.

The Dual Tumbler is designed with two separate chambers and a rotating selector lid, allowing users to carry two beverages in one cup and choose which side to drink from. It is built for people who want more convenience, more functionality, and a better beverage experience throughout the day.

We are currently preparing for launch and building out our sales team to support our first major go-to-market channels. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience in sales, entrepreneurship, consumer products, B2B outreach, and startup growth.

Position Overview

Dual Drinks is looking for a motivated, organized, professional and entrepreneurial Sales Intern to help drive early sales of the Dual Tumbler across our B2B and direct-to-consumer channels.

This role will support sales outreach, lead generation, CRM management, prospecting, follow-ups, pipeline tracking, and closing customer opportunities. The ideal candidate is comfortable communicating with businesses, learning new systems, taking initiative, and helping introduce a new product to market.

This is a strong opportunity for someone interested in sales, business development, marketing, entrepreneurship, hospitality, promotional products, retail, or consumer goods.

Our Sales Channels

Dual Drinks will sell across several channels, with our first priority being B2B sales.

1. B2B Direct - First Priority

Our first market is B2B direct sales. These are companies and organizations purchasing the Dual Tumbler in bulk, often with their logo on the product, to use for corporate gifting, employee appreciation, client gifts, events, conferences, onboarding, and brand promotion.

Examples of B2B direct customers include:

  • Law firms
  • Hospitals and healthcare groups
  • Car dealerships
  • Real estate firms
  • Hotels and resorts
  • Financial firms
  • Tech companies
  • Universities
  • Corporate offices
  • Local and national businesses

In this channel, companies buy the Dual Tumbler directly from us, customize it with their logo, and give it to employees, clients, guests, or partners.

2. Promotional Product Companies

The second B2B channel is promotional product companies. These companies already sell branded merchandise to businesses, and Dual Drinks can become one of the premium products they offer to their existing clients.

This channel has strong potential for larger-volume orders because promotional product companies work with many corporate customers.

3. Retailers - Future Channel

Retail will come later in the company’s growth. This includes everything from small boutiques and specialty shops to larger retailers such as Publix, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and other national retail partners.

4. Direct-to-Consumer

Dual Drinks will also sell directly to consumers through Shopify, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media channels. However, because we do not plan to rely heavily on paid advertising at launch, our primary focus is building a strong B2B sales engine.

Responsibilities

The Sales Intern will support all areas of sales and business development, including:

  • Researching and identifying potential B2B customers
  • Building lead lists across target industries
  • Reaching out to companies through email, LinkedIn, phone, and other channels
  • Supporting outreach to law firms, hospitals, car dealerships, hotels, corporate offices, promotional product companies, and other target accounts
  • Introducing prospects to Dual Drinks and the patented Dual Tumbler
  • Helping explain bulk order options, logo customization, and corporate gifting opportunities
  • Managing contacts, leads, and follow-ups in our CRM and sales systems
  • Tracking sales activity, prospect status, next steps, and closed deals
  • Assisting with sales presentations, pitch decks, product sheets, and customer follow-up materials
  • Supporting sample outreach and customer relationship management
  • Helping organize sales pipelines by channel and priority
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to align outreach with campaigns and launch messaging
  • Supporting direct-to-consumer sales activity when needed
  • Bringing creative ideas for new sales opportunities, partnerships, and customer segments

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Interested in sales, business development, entrepreneurship, or consumer products
  • Confident communicating with businesses and professionals
  • Organized and able to track leads and follow-ups
  • Comfortable using or learning CRM systems, spreadsheets, email platforms, and sales tools
  • Self-motivated and willing to take initiative
  • Professional, reliable, and coachable
  • Excited by startup environments and building something from the ground up
  • Comfortable with commission-based earning potential
  • Creative in finding new customer opportunities
  • Persistent, positive, and not afraid of outreach

Prior sales experience is helpful but not required. We are looking for someone with drive, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.

Compensation

This is a commission-based internship.

Sales Interns will receive 10% commission on all deals they personally close.

To paint the picture:

If a promotional products company places an order for 1,000 units at $40 per unit, that is a $40,000 sale.

At 10% commission, the Sales Intern would earn $4,000 from that one closed deal.

This role offers meaningful upside for interns who are motivated, proactive, and able to help close B2B opportunities.
