Position Summary:
The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Fan Engagement with the marketing efforts, digital strategy and content creation across all platforms for select sports. The incumbent will report to the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Fan Engagement.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of comprehensive marketing campaigns and promotional efforts.
- Concentrating on increasing attendance at athletic events, revenue generation (ticket sales, corporate sponsorship activation, merchandise sales, etc.), and increasing the overall brand footprint of Bulls Athletics.
- Reporting to the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Fan Engagement, work collaboratively within the External Operations team, including athletic communications, marketing & ticket sales, Learfield, and broadcast production staff to enhance the Bulls Athletics brand.
- Work closely with campus partners on projects throughout the year.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrate experience developing and executing marketing plans, promotional campaigns, and fan engagement initiatives designed to increase attendance, revenue, and brand awareness.
- Experience managing game day operations, including in-venue promotions, entertainment elements, sponsorship activations, and overall fan experience strategy.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with internal departments, external partners, and vendors.
- Experience utilizing digital marketing platforms, social media, email marketing, ticketing systems, and analytics tools to drive fan engagement and measure campaign effectiveness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling marketing materials, presentations, promotional messaging, and fan-facing communications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required for athletic events and department initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, sports management, business, or a related field.
