Associate Production Engineer

Associate Production Engineer

Total Value Analysis of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operations at Veranova's West Deptford, New Jersey Facility

Background

Veranova's West Deptford, New Jersey campus is one of the company's largest manufacturing sites, supporting commercial-scale API production through a diverse portfolio of manufacturing assets, specialized processing equipment, and highly regulated operations. The facility operates under current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements and supports pharmaceutical customers throughout the product lifecycle.

As pharmaceutical manufacturing becomes increasingly competitive, organizations must continuously evaluate how operational decisions create value beyond traditional cost reduction. Engineering leaders are expected to balance productivity, quality, regulatory compliance, asset utilization, customer service, workforce effectiveness, sustainability, and financial performance when making strategic investments.

This capstone project challenges associates to evaluate manufacturing operations through a comprehensive Total Value Analysis (TVA) framework that quantifies the operational and financial value generated across the facility while identifying opportunities to improve overall business performance.

Veranova’s RISE (Rising Innovators for Scientific Excellence) program will allow you to partake in a meaningful role that will prepare you for your future.

Project Objective

Develop a comprehensive Total Value Analysis of Veranova's West Deptford manufacturing operations that identifies, quantifies, and prioritizes opportunities to increase enterprise value through operational excellence.
