IT Internship
Your tasks
- Work with IT Manager to understand and support IT system requirements
- Manage IT inventory assets using internal ITSM tool (BITS)
- Install, configure, and maintain end devices (PCs, smartphones, printers, tablets)
- Handle and resolve incidents and service requests following ITSM processes
- Ensure proper ticket documentation, categorization, and escalation
- Perform basic troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Prepare end-of-life devices for recycling in line with IT security protocols
- Support hardware upgrades (RAM, disks) for workstations and laptops
- Ensure KPI compliance for Windows devices (patching, antivirus, BitLocker)
- Maintain IT documentation and asset records
- Identify improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives
Your Profile
- Available to work on-site in Auburn Hills.
- Available to work 20–29 hours per week during the school year (flexible schedule).
- Available to work 30–40 hours per week during the summer (flexible schedule).
- Position planned to start August 1, 2026, or later depending on availability.
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program (graduation year 2027 or later) and pursuing a degree in Information Systems or similar discipline
