Social Media & Content Coordinator
About Keepsake Quilting
Keepsake Quilting is one of the most recognized names in quilting — a destination for makers who love beautiful fabrics, curated kits, and creative inspiration. Our community ranges from first-time quilters to lifelong pros, and we're growing our presence in High Point, NC. We're looking for a creative, social-savvy self-starter to help us reach the next generation of makers online.
The role
This is a great opportunity for a recent grad or early-career creator to own real work from day one. You'll help run our social media across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube — creating content, filming and editing short-form video, and growing our audience. You'll work closely with our team and get hands-on experience across content creation, community building, creator partnerships, and the operations side of a growing retail brand. If you love making video and want a role where your ideas actually ship, this is for you.
What you'll do
- Help plan and create content across TikTok, Instagram (Reels, Stories, posts), Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube
- Film and edit short-form video — trends, tutorials, behind-the-scenes, and product features
- Take photos of products, fabrics, kits, and finished quilts, and write fun, on-brand captions
- Engage with our community by responding to comments and DMs and spotlighting customer projects
- Help reach out to quilting and craft creators to build brand ambassador and affiliate partnerships
- Track how content performs and share simple reports on what's working
- Pitch in on inventory and online marketplace tasks tied to social — keeping product listings and images accurate and up to date
- Jump in on other office tasks as needed — we're a close-knit team
What we're looking for
- A genuine love of social media and a strong sense for what makes content — especially short-form video — work
- Hands-on experience creating content, whether for a job, an internship, a club, a personal account, or your own following
- Basic video and photo editing skills (phone apps, Canva, CapCut, or Adobe tools all count)
- Clear, engaging writing and a good eye for photos
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage your own time
- A team-first attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Enthusiasm for the quilting, sewing, or maker community — or eagerness to learn it
Nice to have
- Coursework, internship, or a personal project in marketing, communications, media, or a related field
- Experience with TikTok or Reels beyond casual use
- Familiarity with e-commerce or online marketplaces (Shopify, Etsy, Amazon)
- Any experience with influencer, affiliate, or ambassador outreach
Why you'll like it here
- Real ownership and creative freedom — your content goes live, not into a folder
- Hands-on experience across social, content, partnerships, and e-commerce operations
- A supportive, close-knit team and a beloved brand with a passionate community
