R2026105795 FSP Facilitator (Open)

Job Responsibilities:

Participate in FSP Student Leadership Council meetings, guiding the direction of the Fostering Success Program and supporting Colorado initiatives to improve opportunity for independent students to access higher education. 

Attend FSP Student Leadership Council overnight retreat from Friday 9/18- Saturday 9/19. Engage in Trauma Informed Presenting Training, developing knowledge on trauma informed approaches to build leadership skills and strategic sharing for facilitating speaking opportunities.

Assist in leading Independent Student Visit Day on Friday 11/6, sharing the message that college is a possibility with 9th-12th grade students.

Hours:

This is a leadership opportunity with trainings, meetings and presenting opportunities throughout the academic year.

The hours are minimal, averaging less than 1 hour/week.

The duration of this role is from August 2026 through May 2027.

Qualifications of Facilitators:

Be a current CSU student and member of the Fostering Success Program.

Display willingness to learn and grow though the position.

Demonstrate ability to share ideas and present information to groups.

Possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and interest in building community.

Ability to commit to regular meetings and activities for the duration of the position.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals.
