Business Outreach Intern

Internship Position

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to support business outreach, marketing, event planning, and member engagement initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience in business development, communications, relationship management, and community networking.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to accredited businesses and prospective members through phone calls, email communications, and in-person visits.
• Assist with sales and membership retention efforts by building and maintaining positive business relationships.
• Perform data entry, database management, and record maintenance to ensure accurate and organized information.
• Create and manage social media content, including campaigns, posts, and promotional materials.
• Assist in the development and distribution of newsletters and other marketing communications.
• Support networking initiatives and represent BBB at community and business events.
• Assist with event planning, coordination, setup, and execution to ensure successful programs and activities.
• Conduct sponsorship outreach and help secure support for events and organizational initiatives.
• Collaborate with staff on creative projects and contribute new ideas to increase engagement and visibility.
• Provide excellent customer service through professional interactions conducted in person, by telephone, and through email correspondence.
