The MLEIP prepares undergraduate and graduate students for the next step in their career journey through a paid, full-time summer internship, either at TCEQ, other state agencies, county and city governments, or in the private sector in Texas.
A one-of-a-kind experience offering an unparalleled glimpse into the future of environmental science and conservation.
Open to all majors! You will have the opportunity to shadow one of the following positions- Environmental Investigators, Engineering Specialists, Hydrologists, & Data Analyst.


Eligibility Requirements
• Undergraduates with 60+ semester hours or graduate students
• Full-time enrollment for spring semester
• Minimum 2.0 GPA
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• Current transcript (including spring semester classes)
