Marketing and Outreach Coordinator

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role focused on executing public-facing marketing and community outreach initiatives. You will support content creation, digital campaign execution, website updates, and promotional materials while ensuring all marketing activity follows existing brand standards and complies with ethical and HIPAA guidelines for healthcare marketing. You will collaborate with leadership and team members by contributing ideas and insights during planning and brainstorming conversations. Your primary responsibility is to execute approved outreach initiatives accurately and consistently across all marketing channels. 

This position is initially part-time, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time based on business needs.

  • Ability to update website content and learn website management platforms (e.g., Squarespace); basic HTML knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy, brand consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Ability to follow established brand guidelines and implement approved marketing strategies.
  • Analytical skills to monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Professional collaboration skills with the ability to contribute ideas while working effectively with leadership and team members.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for representing the organization professionally in community settings.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new marketing tools, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA and ethical healthcare marketing standards.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing a degree) in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media management, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience using social media platforms for business purposes (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Basic proficiency with graphic design software such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with website management platforms (Squarespace or similar CMS) is preferred.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and complying with HIPAA and ethical healthcare marketing standards.

Expected Responsibilities

  • Execute approved marketing and community outreach initiatives across digital and print platforms.
  • Create engaging content for social media, email newsletters, websites, and promotional materials.
  • Update website content and assist with digital marketing campaigns.
  • Design graphics, marketing collateral, and branded promotional materials consistent with company standards.
  • Assist with planning, promotion, and coordination of community events and outreach initiatives.
  • Conduct market research on industry trends, competitors, and community engagement opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on marketing campaign performance, website traffic, and social media analytics.
  • Maintain content calendars, marketing assets, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with leadership and team members by contributing ideas and supporting marketing initiatives.
  • Represent the organization professionally at approved community events using approved messaging.
  • Ensure all marketing materials and communications comply with brand standards, HIPAA regulations, and ethical healthcare marketing practices.
  • Perform other marketing and outreach duties as assigned that support organizational goals.
