COB Management Student Worker

The student will work in the Management and Healthcare Administration Department of the LCOB, assisting with courses, student recruiting, retention, and engagement efforts. Duties may include:

  • The student will be proctoring evening classes at the College of Business for 3 days a week. This will entail starting the virtual class, taking attendance, and being on standby for any technical issues.
  • Tutor course (MGT 218 Business Quantitative Methods ), lead group discussions, and complete other tasks that support the teaching of high-quality courses;
  • Other duties as assigned.

 The ideal student worker will be a business major of junior or senior rank with good communication skills, comfort with data statistics and analytics, and enthusiasm for helping others. Student must have completed MGT 218 or equivalent prior to starting.

  • Pay is $12 per hour
  • Hours are 10 hours per week
  • Federal work-study positions are subject to change based on funding availability.
  • Students cannot work during class hours and schedules must be planned around class.
  • For any work-study position a student is applying for, a resume and class schedule must be submitted.
