PA Residency Requirement. 

Students from another state who are currently residing in Pennsylvania and enrolled at a Pennsylvania college, university, or technical school, are eligible to apply. However, if hired, you must establish Pennsylvania (Commonwealth) residency within six months of your employment start date.

This position performs professional accounting work in support of County categorical programs within the Wayne County Human Services Agency (HSA). Responsibilities include fiscal maintenance and reconciliation of housing-related grants, preparation and submission of invoices and fiscal reports, and calculation of required grant match. Ensures accurate recording and allocation of revenues and expenditures in accordance with applicable accounting standards and reporting requirements.

Duties include preparing and posting general ledger entries; reconciling accounts; maintaining accounts receivable and revenue records; and assisting with budget monitoring and financial reporting. Provides fiscal support to the Aging program through preparation of required reports and interpretation of financial data. Assists with cost allocation processes, audit preparation, and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Reviews invoices and monitors provider expenditures to ensure adherence to contract limits.

Supervises one Fiscal Technician, including assigning work, approving leave, and completing performance evaluations. Work is performed with a moderate degree of independence and reviewed by a Fiscal Officer 2 or higher-level supervisor for accuracy, completeness, and
