The Opportunity
Are you a recent graduate looking for a varied, hands-on role where you can gain real experience at a senior level within a dynamic property business?
Generator Group is a SME property development and strategic land company, delivering residential and mixed-use projects across southern England. We are looking for a motivated and organised graduate to join our Chelmsford office on a 12-month fixed-term basis, providing executive and project support to our Managing Director and Group Development Director.
This is a genuinely broad role, not just diary management and admin. You will be involved in the day-to-day running of a busy property business, supporting live development projects, liaising with external consultants and agents, and helping to keep the business operating smoothly and efficiently.
What You Will Be Doing
• Providing day-to-day executive and administrative support to the MD and Group Development Director
• Diary management, scheduling, meeting preparation and minute-taking
• Preparing and formatting documents, reports and presentations to a high standard
• Supporting project coordination across active development sites, including acquisition, planning and delivery stages
• Liaising with external consultants, agents, solicitors, contractors and other stakeholders
• Assisting with research tasks including market research, site analysis and opportunity identification
• Monitoring and organising project documentation and administrative workflows
• Helping to manage purchaser and agent queries and supporting sales and occupier matters
• Contributing to the integration of AI tools into the business to drive efficiencies
What We Are Looking For
• A degree (or equivalent) in any discipline at 2:2 or above
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and confident manner
• An interest in property, business and how things get done
• A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and external professionals
• An interest in AI and its application in the workplace
What You Will Get
• Hands-on exposure to all stages of property development from day one
• Direct access to and support from senior leadership
• A varied, fast-paced role with genuine responsibility
• The opportunity to develop your business, administrative and project skills in a supportive environment
• A platform to build a career in property or senior business support
