Pinetree Health provides AI-powered Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services to physician groups, specialty practices, ambulatory surgery centers, and healthcare organizations. We help providers improve cash flow by reducing claim denials, recovering aged accounts receivable, and optimizing the revenue cycle through a combination of experienced RCM professionals and advanced AI.

 

Overview

We are looking for a Business Development & Sales Intern to help grow our client pipeline. You will support outbound sales efforts, identify prospective healthcare organizations, generate qualified meetings, and contribute to the development of scalable sales processes. This is a hands-on role with direct exposure to healthcare sales, business development, and go-to-market strategy. Hiring will be on a rolling basis, with a rolling end-date open to continuation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify physician practices, specialty clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, and healthcare organizations that fit our ideal customer profile.
  • Execute outbound outreach through email, LinkedIn, and phone to generate qualified sales meetings.
  • Build and maintain prospect lists using sales intelligence and CRM platforms.
  • Manage CRM records and ensure pipeline data remains accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with sales pipeline planning, lead qualification, and opportunity tracking.
  • Develop and test outbound campaigns, referral strategies, and partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate on messaging, outreach sequences, and sales materials.
  • Track outreach performance and recommend improvements based on key metrics.
  • Stay informed on healthcare industry trends, revenue cycle challenges, and payer reimbursement issues.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Interest in business development, sales, or healthcare
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Comfortable learning new software and sales tools
  • Experience with CRM platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or outreach tools is a plus
  • Interest in healthcare technology, medical billing, or Revenue Cycle Management is preferred
