Are you passionate about graphic design, digital creativity, and inspiring students through hands-on learning?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Graphic Design Instructor to lead engaging after-school enrichment classes this fall. This program introduces students to the fundamentals of graphic design while encouraging creativity, visual storytelling, and digital problem-solving through fun, project-based activities.
Students will learn core design principles such as color theory, typography, layout, composition, branding, and digital illustration while creating posters, logos, social media graphics, advertisements, and other creative projects. Through hands-on design challenges, students will develop artistic confidence, critical thinking, and valuable digital skills.

Curriculum guidance, lesson plans, and project materials are provided so you can focus on delivering an engaging and memorable classroom experience.
What You'll Do
- Lead engaging Graphic Design classes in a fun, supportive, and creative learning environment
- Teach foundational graphic design concepts, including color theory, typography, layout, composition, and visual communication
- Guide students through hands-on digital design projects and creative challenges
- Encourage creativity, problem-solving, collaboration, and artistic expression
- Introduce students to industry-inspired design practices and creative workflows
- Adapt instruction to accommodate varying skill levels and learning styles
- Foster an inclusive classroom where students feel comfortable exploring their creativity
- Monitor student progress and provide positive feedback and encouragement
- Maintain classroom organization and assist students with design tools and creative software as needed
- Communicate professionally with program coordinators and school staff
- Arrive prepared and ready to deliver an exceptional learning experience
What We're Looking For
- Passion for graphic design, digital art, creativity, and visual communication
- Experience with graphic design software such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or similar design platforms
- Strong communication and classroom leadership skills
- Patient, organized, dependable, and professional attitude
- Ability to explain design concepts in an engaging and age-appropriate manner
- Comfortable leading project-based learning and creative activities
- Prior teaching, tutoring, camp, youth program, or classroom experience is a plus but not required
- Background in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Education, or related fields is highly encouraged
