eCommerce Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled eCommerce Manager to lead our digital sales for several licensed sports manufacturers across many marketplace partners, including Amazon, Chewy, Dick’s, Rally House, Faire, and many more. This role requires a leader with deep, current, hands-on experience inside both Amazon Vendor Central (1P) and Seller Central (3P) - someone who understands the portals at an operational, strategic, and troubleshooting level.

This is a high-impact position responsible for running the eCommerce department, managing a growing team, and ensuring our licensed sports product catalogs are optimized and positioned for aggressive growth. You will balance planning with hands-on execution, ensuring every platform, process, and product listing supports scalable revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Growth.

  • Drive growth through conversion optimization, assortment expansion, promotions, and new channel development.
  • Use platform analytics, sales data, and market trends to guide decisions and forecast performance.

Amazon Vendor & Seller Central Ownership

  • Serve as an internal expert for Amazon operations, including item setup, cost updates, case packs, availability, and catalog integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues: suppressed listings, variation rebuilds, cost update failures, chargebacks, shortages, and compliance flags.
  • Oversee A+ content, Brand Registry assets, and storefront optimization.
  • Maintain retail readiness standards across titles, bullets, SEO, and imagery.

Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the eCommerce Sales Lead and Associate(s).
  • Oversee training and performance management.
  • Build a culture of accountability, clarity, and continuous improvement.

Product & Marketplace Management

  • Oversee all product listings for accuracy, SEO, imagery, pricing, and compliance.
  • Manage relationships with marketplace partners and licensed vendors.
  • Ensure timely updates for new launches, seasonal resets, and promotional events.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyze platform performance and identify actionable opportunities.
  • Deliver weekly and monthly reporting to leadership and vendor partners.
  • Monitor KPIs across sales, conversion, catalog health, and operational metrics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Creative, Operations, and Customer Service to align initiatives.
  • Ensure digital execution supports product launches, marketing campaigns, and vendor programs.
  • Communicate platform needs and timelines clearly across departments.

Customer Platform Oversight

  • Maintain customer-specific portals with accurate listings, pricing, and merchandising.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer platform needs and performance.
  • Provide reporting, insights, and promotional planning to support account growth.
  • Resolve listing, content, or reporting issues with urgency and accuracy.
  • Support Customer Service with escalations and post-purchase experience improvements.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of eCommerce or digital sales experience, including 3+ years in a senior or management role.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central, not just exposure.
  • Strong understanding of marketplace algorithms, compliance, and catalog management.
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, analytics platforms, and marketplace technologies.
  • Exceptional project management and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Experience with licensed sports products is a plus but not required.
