Part-Time | NYC-Based | Hybrid/Flexible
We're a surfboard glass shop and apparel brand built around craftsmanship, looking for a creative, organized Content & Brand Storytelling Coordinator to help capture our process and share our story.
This is a flexible, ongoing opportunity for someone who enjoys both strategy and content creation. Most work can be completed remotely, but applicants should be based in the NYC area and available for regular content shoots and occasional in-person meetings at our shop.
About the Role
We're looking for someone who can create thoughtful, authentic content that reflects who we are and how we build. This isn't a role focused on chasing every trend—it's about telling our story through compelling visuals, meaningful moments, and consistent brand marketing.
You'll spend time in our shop capturing the board-building process, collaborating during content shoots, developing marketing initiatives, planning content calendars, and creating engaging content that connects with our audience across multiple channels.
What You'll Do
- Develop and refine our social media and marketing strategy
- Create and maintain monthly content and marketing calendars
- Brainstorm creative campaigns, product launches, and promotional ideas
- Capture photo and video content during in-shop content shoots
- Collaborate on creative direction and brand storytelling
- Edit and produce:
- Short-form videos (Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other digital platforms)
- Photo carousels
- Stories
- Marketing graphics and branded creative assets
- Occasional marketing email campaigns and email blasts
- Assist with website, product launch, and seasonal marketing initiatives
- Help maintain a consistent visual identity and brand voice across all marketing channels
Compensation
Compensation is based on experience and the scope of work. This is a flexible, ongoing opportunity with room to grow as the brand grows.
Qualifications
- Based in the NYC metro area
- Experience creating content and supporting marketing initiatives for a brand or business
- Strong background in videography, video editing, and photography
- Proficiency with professional photo and video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, or equivalent)
- Strong visual storytelling skills and creative eye
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small team
Nice to Have
- Passion for surfing, outdoor culture, design, or craftsmanship
- Experience working with lifestyle, outdoor, fashion, or action sports brands
