The Gould Center for Sports, Entertainment, Media & Technology Law is looking to hire a law student with career aspirations in one or more of the Center’s concentrations for the 2026-27 academic year to help with various projects and initiatives, approx. 10 to 12 hours a week.  The student will play a key role in helping the Center operate and conduct business.  

Responsibilities:

  • Help organize and stage academic events within the Center’s areas of expertise, such as conferences, symposia, speaker series, roundtables, and other similar events.
  • Support the Center’s communications efforts, including drafting social media posts for the Center account, and designing publicity materials.
  • Support the Event Coordinator with her duties as needed and requested.
  • Maintain and organize digital files and databases.
  • Provide on-site event support.
  • Conduct research and compile information about similar academic centers/concentrations at other law schools.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must be a current 2L or 3L.
  • Must be eligible for Federal work study.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and interface with professionals outside of the Law Center.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Previous administrative, office, or event support experience desired.
