Tanya Taylor is a New York-based womenswear brand whose mission is to inspire all women to live in color. Through the artful use of color and original hand-painted prints, each Tanya Taylor collection is designed to bring confidence and high-energy happiness into daily life.

Each Tanya Taylor collection is designed with real women in mind. We consider fit and function, so that women can use our clothing as a tool to feel like the best version of themselves each day.

We are looking for a Social Media Intern who loves storytelling through content creation, understands trends, and wants hands-on experience in social media.

GOALS:

  • Support the brand's social presence by creating fun and engaging content, interacting with followers, and keeping up with the latest trends.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Social Media Manager with community management, light reporting, and content creation. Light editing and/or graphic design work.
  • Help with community management – actively interacting with feeds, liking/replying to comments, and responding to DMs.
  • Help track and report on social media performance using analytics tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Available to work 2 days in our Union Square office, and 1 Day Remote as needed.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Media, or a related field.
  • Must be able to receive academic credit.
  • Passionate about social media and content creation, and familiar with social media platforms, trends, and engagement strategies.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for aesthetics, branding, and editing.
  • Organized, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • Knowledge of graphic design, video editing, or photography (must have experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, and CapCut).
