Internship Description
You will learn how to build research around the digital space for a music industry company. You will be working directly alongside the digital team in Nashville.
Content of the internship
- Content Strategy & Planning: Brainstorming and developing engaging social content plans tailored to our roster
- Short-Form Video Creation: Use platforms like CapCut to create punchy video edits and cut-downs from longer source material.
- Video Editing & Production: Help edit and polish captivating video content designed specifically to engage audiences on official artist profiles and fan pages
- Trend Spotting: Keep your finger on the pulse of current social media trends (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts) and pitch fresh ideas to incorporate into our daily content strategy.
- YouTube Asset Development: Support the creation of visual assets to enhance the viewer experience and expand our music's reach.
- Media Outreach & Pitching: Shadow our digital team to learn the ropes of media outreach. You will assist by researching key contacts, building media lists, and helping draft introductory pitch emails to our preferred media partners and digital curators.
Our requirements are as follows:
- Current enrollment in a higher education institution, preferably in Music Business, marketing,
graphic design or a related field. - Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Canva, Premiere, iMovie, GarageBand,
Adobe Suite, or any video and audio editing software.
