Optical Sales Associate
Join our great Folline Vision Center team in Columbia today! For over 30 years, we’ve employed USC students who graduated with great experience in many areas: retail, business, healthcare, fashion, marketing and sales! We are looking for just the right person with attention to detail, professionalism, responsibility, fashion sense, sales experience. Healthcare experience is a plus.
This position will involve and we are happy to train the right person for:
- work with Doctors of Optometry;
- pre-testing patients with vision equipment and obtaining the pertinent patient history;
- gaining knowledge of optical prescriptions, prescription lenses and ophthalmic frames;
- understanding and explaining vision insurance plan benefits to patients;
- determining and explaining appropriate lens materials and numerous features that address individual patient needs and requirements;
- as well as help us offer the BEST in eyecare and eyewear to our patients! Prada, Gucci, Tom Ford, YSL, Kate Spade, Tiffany & Co., Oliver Peoples, Ray-Ban and MORE brands!
Must be dependable with strong work ethic. Store hours Mon-Sat 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Must be able to work some Saturdays a month. Approximately 16-25 hours per week during the Fall and Spring Semesters. More hours may be available over the summer. Please send resume and cover letter with compensation requirements.
