Interior Design Intern

Are you a creative and passionate Interior Design student looking for some great real-world experience? Interested in working with a collaborative team to increase your background and design skillset? If so, this opportunity could be a great fit for you! This opportunity allows you to work with NCIDQ certified designers and obtain required work experience towards future certification. This is a paid internship and we are looking for students who can work 15-20 hours per week.

What you'll do: As an Intern on our Design team, you will work on a variety of tasks, learning new things and gaining experience that you can use both in the classroom and in your career.  Primary tasks include the following: 

• Conduct on-site visits to various properties, performing site measurements and collecting other field survey data.
• Perform Revit modeling and detailing.
• Assist in project documentation from schematic design to construction documents, reviewing drawings for document compliance.
• Assist in the design and planning of conceptual layouts for various projects.
• Collaborate with Interior Design team on current design needs, trends and project delivery.
• Organize and compile data files, as needed.
• Provide support for various general design tasks.

What it takes to join our team:

• Must be enrolled as a college student pursuing an Interior Design, Architecture or related degree.
• Proficiency in Revit required.
• Ability to multi-task with a high attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and comfortable working both independently and in a team environment.
• Be an active learner - willing to learn new things, tackle new projects and software and demonstrate initiative.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
