This position is an Accelerated Compensation for Developmental Position (ACDP) within the 309 Software Engineering Group (309 SWEG), designed to systematically groom the incumbent for advancement to the full-performance NH-03 target grade. Under the direct mentorship of a Senior Electronics Engineer, the incumbent will execute a structured, formal training and development plan featuring progressively complex assignments. These tasks are strategically designed to build the necessary technical knowledge, skills, and adaptability required to navigate the rapid changes and inherent complexities of the Air Force operational environment.

Operationally, the engineer will focus on delivering robust hardware and software solutions for a diverse portfolio of Air Operations and Trainer systems. Key technical responsibilities include supporting and optimizing navigational aids, tactical communication networks, and advanced aircraft training and simulation systems. To secure advancement to the target grade, the incumbent must successfully satisfy all regulatory training requirements, demonstrate technical proficiency across these critical military systems, and prove capable of operating independently at the NH-03 level.
