Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, cloud platforms, and automation. You will collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams to streamline software delivery and improve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or similar tools.

Ensure infrastructure security by implementing DevSecOps best practices.

Optimize system performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.

Manage Linux servers, networking, DNS, load balancers, and storage solutions.

Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and release automation.

Perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues.

Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.

Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to DevOps best practices.

Required Skills

Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Expertise in Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.

Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

Experience with Linux system administration.

Knowledge of scripting using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

Experience with Git and version control workflows.

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.

Understanding of networking concepts, security, SSL, VPN, DNS, and firewalls.

Experience implementing DevSecOps practices.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Cloud certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer).

Kubernetes certifications (CKA or CKAD) are a plus.

Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native applications.

Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Nice to Have

Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio.

Knowledge of ArgoCD or FluxCD for GitOps.

Experience with Helm charts.

Familiarity with Kafka, Redis, or message queue systems.

Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments.
