What You'll Do
- Design structural steel buildings, foundations, and building components.
- Perform engineering calculations to ensure safe, efficient structural designs.
- Develop specifications that meet applicable building codes and industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and manufacturing teams throughout project development.
- Review structural drawings for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with project planning, scope development, and budget estimates.
- Research engineering solutions and apply sound technical judgment to complex challenges.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and other engineering projects as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam before hire.
- Interest in pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is a plus.
- Experience with structural analysis software such as RISA-3D, RAM Elements, RAM Advanse, CASTA, MBS, or similar programs is preferred.
- Understanding of structural building design and construction principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Work Environment
This position is primarily office-based with occasional visits to our manufacturing and warehouse facilities. Engineers regularly collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and built to the highest quality standards.
