What You'll Do

  • Design structural steel buildings, foundations, and building components.
  • Perform engineering calculations to ensure safe, efficient structural designs.
  • Develop specifications that meet applicable building codes and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and manufacturing teams throughout project development.
  • Review structural drawings for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with project planning, scope development, and budget estimates.
  • Research engineering solutions and apply sound technical judgment to complex challenges.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and other engineering projects as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam before hire.
  • Interest in pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is a plus.
  • Experience with structural analysis software such as RISA-3D, RAM Elements, RAM Advanse, CASTA, MBS, or similar programs is preferred.
  • Understanding of structural building design and construction principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based with occasional visits to our manufacturing and warehouse facilities. Engineers regularly collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and built to the highest quality standards.
