We're looking for a highly detail-oriented GIS Spatial Data Intern to help build next-generation indoor mapping datasets for navigation, facilities management, and digital twin applications. This will be a combination of virtual review, spatial analysis, and GIS data development.
Tasks:

- Identify and tag indoor assets and points of interest
Locate facility features, per project (i.e. AC units, fire alarms, etc).
Record and classify observations according to project standards in GIS software.
- Contribute directly to the creation of ArcGIS Indoors datasets
The information you collect will support indoor mapping systems used by organizations to:
- Navigate complex facilities
- Manage building operations
- Improve workplace and healthcare experiences
- Support digital twin initiatives
- Enhance facility planning and maintenance
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in GIS, geography, architecture or facilities management
- Familiarity with ArcGIS products is a plus, but not required
- Experience with data entry, quality control, or image annotation is helpful
- Strong organizational skills
This role will be highly focused and project-based. Interns should expect to spend the majority of their time working within panoramic imagery environments, systematically identifying and cataloging features across campuses/buildings and thousands of field collected datasets.
