Interior Design Internship

Fall 2026 Interior Design Internship – Paid

Location: Arhaus locations nationwide
Term: October 2026 – Mid-December 2026
Schedule: Minimum 20–22 hours per week

Are you passionate about interior design and looking to gain real-world, hands-on experience? Join the Arhaus Interior Design Internship Program and work alongside our talented, accredited Interior Designers in one of our showroom locations across the country.

This paid internship is designed for students who are eager to strengthen their design skills while gaining valuable client-facing experience in a luxury retail environment. You'll contribute to real design projects, interact with clients, and see the design process from concept to installation.

As an Arhaus Interior Design Intern, you will:

  • Assist with space planning and furniture layouts
  • Help select furnishings, textiles, lighting, and décor
  • Create mood boards and presentation materials
  • Support full-scale client design presentations
  • Participate in site visits and installations
  • Learn our proprietary design platform and product offerings
  • Work directly with clients while developing professional communication and sales skills
  • Receive mentorship from experienced Interior Designers

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design/Architecture or a related field
  • Ability to commit to 20–22 hours per week from October through mid-December
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Passion for design and creating exceptional client experiences
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus but not required
