Christian School Teacher

A teacher at Peace River Christian Academy will provide high-quality education while integrating Christian values and principles into the curriculum. They will foster a nurturing and respectful environment that encourages spiritual, academic, and personal growth for students. 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 - **Instructional Planning:** Develop lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and incorporate Biblical principles.

 - **Teaching:** Focused on a mastery-based classroom, deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and promote critical thinking.

 - **Classroom Management:** Establish a positive classroom environment with clear expectations for behavior, promoting self-discipline and respect.

 - **Student Support:** Provide individualized attention to students, addressing their academic and spiritual needs.

 - **Professional Development:** Stay updated on educational best practices and actively participate in school-wide initiatives.

 - **Community Engagement:** Communicate regularly with parents and collaborate with colleagues to support the school's mission.

 **Qualifications:** - A bachelor's degree in any content area is recommended but not an absolute requirement. - A strong personal faith and commitment to Christian values/the Word of God. - Active in a local evangelical church. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Passion for teaching and mentoring young minds.

 **Preferred Skills:** - Familiarity with integrating faith-based content into academic subjects. - Ability to inspire students to grow in their relationship with God. - Experience in creating a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment.
