About the Role

Are you a tech enthusiast who loves working with kids? We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and highly dependable Part-Time Coding Instructor to join our team.

In this role, you will introduce young minds to the exciting world of programming. Your goal isn't just to teach syntax—it's to make logic, problem-solving, and game design come alive in a way that keeps kids buzzing with excitement.

Key Responsibilities

Engage & Inspire: Deliver creative, hands-on coding lessons that keep kids focused, motivated, and excited to learn.

Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, organized, and focused classroom environment, ensuring all students are supported and on track.

Be Punctual & Prepared: Arrive on time, set up the tech/classroom before students arrive, and manage the class schedule effectively.

Support & Troubleshoot: Patiently guide students through coding challenges, helping them debug their projects while fostering critical thinking.

What We Are Looking For

A Natural with Kids: You genuinely enjoy working with children, have great patience, and know how to turn a frustrating coding bug into a fun learning moment.

Tech-Savvy & Knowledgeable: Strong understanding of basic programming concepts. Experience with kid-friendly languages/platforms (like Scratch, Minecraft Modding, Roblox Studio, Python, or JavaScript) is highly preferred.

Reliable & Punctual: Our students count on us! Consistency, dependability, and showing up on time are absolute non-negotiables.

Strong Communicator: Able to break down complex technical concepts into simple, engaging ideas that a 10-year-old can easily grasp.

Requirements

Experience managing groups of children (e.g., in classrooms, camps, tutoring centers, or after-school programs).

Background in Computer Science, IT, STEM, or a related field (enthusiastic college students are encouraged to apply!).

Ability to pass a standard background check.
