Position: Photography & Content Intern
We're looking for a local intern to accompany us to lifestyle shoots and events, capturing behind-the-scenes content, photography, and authentic family moments for social media, marketing, and advertising.
This is a great opportunity for a student or emerging photographer/videographer looking to build a portfolio with an award-winning consumer brand.
What You'll Do
- Accompany the August & Ivy team to local photo and video shoots throughout the Milwaukee, Ozaukee County, and surrounding areas
- Capture lifestyle photography of families, babies, and product use
- Take behind-the-scenes content during shoots
- Help create content for Instagram, TikTok, website, email marketing, and advertising
- Assist with light styling and creative direction on set
- Organize and deliver edited and/or raw photo files after shoots
- Occasionally assist with product photography and flat lays
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience with photography (professional, student, or hobbyist)
- Has their own camera equipment
- Has a strong eye for natural, lifestyle photography
- Loves storytelling and capturing authentic moments
- Is comfortable photographing babies, children, and families
- Is reliable, organized, and enthusiastic
- Is located in or near Grafton, WI and able to travel locally
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience with Lightroom or photo editing
- Experience creating social media content
- An interest in entrepreneurship, branding, or motherhood/family content
- Video experience (not required but appreciated)
