CDL Class A Owner-Operator

Role Description – CDL Class A Owner-Operator

3K Trucking & Logistics is seeking professional CDL Class A Owner-Operators with their own truck and trailer who are committed to safety, reliability, and exceptional customer service. Candidates must maintain a valid Class A CDL, current DOT medical certificate, acceptable driving record, and remain compliant with all FMCSA regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS), Electronic Logging Device (ELD) requirements, and pre- and post-trip inspections. Owner-Operators must maintain all required permits, registrations, insurance, and equipment in safe operating condition. Drivers are responsible for on-time pickups and deliveries, accurate paperwork, and professional communication with dispatch and customers. Qualifications

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate, clean driving record, and a minimum of 2 years of recent verifiable Class A commercial driving experience.

Ownership or long-term lease of a well-maintained, DOT-compliant tractor and trailer suitable for regional and long-haul freight.

Must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) record, and CSA Safety Measurement System (SMS) history.

Must successfully pass a DOT pre-employment drug test, be registered with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse, and participate in all required DOT random drug and alcohol testing.

Strong knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS), Electronic Logging Device (ELD) requirements, cargo securement, and required vehicle inspection and maintenance procedures.

Ability to independently manage routes, schedules, bills of lading, electronic paperwork, and communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and shipping/receiving personnel while maintaining safe, reliable, and on-time service.

Willingness to work full-time with flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed; ability to safely secure freight when required. Experience in regional or over-the-road trucking is preferred.
