About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Remote Data Specialist to support data management, reporting, and operational analysis across business functions. This role is responsible for ensuring data accuracy, maintaining organized databases, generating reports, and supporting decision-making through reliable data insights in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources.
- Maintain and update internal databases and spreadsheets.
- Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy and consistency.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards for operational and leadership teams.
- Identify and correct data discrepancies or errors.
- Support data tracking for projects, operations, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with teams to improve data collection processes and workflows.
- Assist in developing data management procedures and documentation.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and confidentiality at all times.
- Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in data entry, data analysis, or administrative support preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Basic understanding of databases and data management systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with reporting tools or dashboards (e.g., Excel pivot tables, Google Data Studio, or similar).
- Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems.
- Basic analytical or problem-solving skills.
