Data Processing Clerk

The Data Processing Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, verifying, and maintaining information in company databases and information systems. This role ensures data integrity by reviewing records for accuracy, processing documents, and maintaining organized files while meeting quality and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter, update, and verify data in databases, spreadsheets, and business systems.
  • Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and consistency before processing.
  • Identify and correct data discrepancies and report issues when necessary.
  • Process forms, applications, invoices, and other business documents.
  • Maintain electronic and physical records in an organized manner.
  • Retrieve and compile information for reports and internal requests.
  • Perform routine quality checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Protect confidential and sensitive information in accordance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve data-related issues.
  • Meet daily productivity, accuracy, and processing goals.
  • Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with database management systems and data processing software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of office procedures and recordkeeping practices.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve data inconsistencies.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
