About Us
Evo Associates is a management consultancy startup focused on team performance. This practice is built on a contrarian premise: neither your MBA nor your company taught you how to identify and improve team dynamics. We apply organizational psychology to understand the players, organizational behavior to understand the playbook, and complexity science to understand the plays that support organizations building teams that perform - not through heroic leaders, but by understanding how groups develop collective capability. Less org chart, more ecosystem.
This is a new practice founded by Dr. Michael Morand - Fortune 50 strategist, War Veteran, Adjunct Professor, Non-Profit Trustee, and alum of UMass, Oklahoma, NYU, and Temple. You'd be the first full-time Associate hired after a class of Summer Associates.
The Role
You'll work directly with our founder across the full range of building a consulting practice from the ground up:
- Research & Methodology - Dig into the science of team performance to sharpen our frameworks and challenge our assumptions
- Content & Marketing - Support development of articles, social media presence, and podcast production
- Business Development - Help build engagement strategies and client-facing resources
- Operations - Create or improve upon processes that either don't exist or must continue to evolve
You'll do real work on real problems, and your thinking will shape what we build.
You
- Bachelor's in Business, Economics, Psychology, or related field
- Excellent communicator - writing matters here
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Curious about why conventional wisdom on leadership and teams falls short
- Comfortable with ambiguity (we're building the plane while flying it)
