Are you passionate about helping children, youth, and families build on their strengths and achieve meaningful goals? New Alternatives, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) Family Specialist to join our collaborative team.
The HFW Family Specialist plays a vital role in the High Fidelity Wraparound process by partnering with families to build trust, foster engagement, and provide ongoing support throughout their Wraparound journey. As a key member of the Child and Family Team (CFT), you will help families identify their strengths, navigate community resources, develop natural supports, and build the skills needed to achieve long-term success.
Working closely with HFW Facilitators and community partners, the Family Specialist advocates for family voice and choice while promoting hope, resilience, and positive outcomes.

In This Role, You Will
- Build trusting, supportive relationships with children, youth, and families
- Promote family engagement and ensure family voice and choice remain central throughout the Wraparound process
- Participate in Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings and assist in implementing the family's Plan of Care
- Help families identify strengths, natural supports, and community resources
- Support families in developing self-advocacy, problem-solving, and independent living skills
- Coordinate with HFW Facilitators, providers, schools, and community partners to support family goals
- Provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed, strengths-based services
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with agency and program requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, Sociology, Child Development, Education, or a related field
- Experience working with children, youth, and families in behavioral health, social services, education, child welfare, or a related setting preferred
- Knowledge of family-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed practices
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and community partners
- Commitment to culturally responsive, family-driven services
