This role is for people who enjoy understanding business problems, working with data, and turning information into clear recommendations that teams can act on. You should be comfortable speaking to stakeholders, breaking down requirements, analyzing trends, documenting findings, and helping teams make better decisions.

The ideal candidate should be able to connect business context with data, identify process gaps, create reports or dashboards, and communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders. What You Will Work On

  • Analyze business processes, customer behavior, operational data, and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand requirements, define problem statements, and translate business needs into clear analytical tasks.
  • Create reports, dashboards, trackers, and summaries that help teams monitor performance and make informed decisions.
  • Use SQL, spreadsheets, BI tools, and basic analytics workflows to extract, clean, and interpret data.
  • Support projects across business intelligence, operations, customer insights, product performance, sales analytics, finance, or process optimization.
  • Document requirements, workflows, key findings, assumptions, and recommendations in a clear and structured manner.
  • Collaborate with data, product, operations, and business teams to ensure insights are practical and actionable.
  • Experiment with Zerve to understand how business analysis can move faster from raw data to shareable reports, dashboards, or stakeholder-ready outputs.

Skills Required

  • 1+ year of hands-on experience in business analysis, business intelligence, operations analysis, product analysis, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work with spreadsheets, SQL, dashboards, and business reporting tools.
  • Good understanding of business metrics, KPIs, process flows, and performance tracking.
  • Experience gathering requirements, documenting workflows, and summarizing stakeholder needs.
  • Ability to clean, organize, and interpret structured datasets.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present findings and recommendations to business stakeholders.

Good to Have

  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Google Data Studio, Excel, Google Sheets, or similar reporting tools.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for querying and transforming business data.
  • Exposure to CRM, sales, marketing, product, finance, or operations datasets.
  • Experience creating BRDs, requirement documents, dashboards, process maps, or executive summaries.
  • Familiarity with Python or no-code/low-code analytics tools is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Interest in AI tools that help business teams analyze data, automate reporting, and improve decision-making.

Eligibility

  • Open to candidates based in the United States.
  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in business analysis, business intelligence, operations analysis, consulting, product analysis, or related work.
  • Suitable for early-career professionals, analysts, recent graduates with relevant internship experience, and candidates with strong project or portfolio work.
  • Background in Business, Economics, Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related fields is preferred.
