Qi is building the world's first Live Signal Intelligence platform — turning Gen Z thinking into institutional-grade intelligence that global corporations want to access. We are pre-revenue, moving fast, and recruiting three to five founding interns to work directly with the co-founding team. No middle management. No busy work. No waiting six weeks to do something that matters.
If you want a structured graduate scheme with a clear handbook, this is not it. If you want to build something real, in front of real clients, with people who will back you publicly — keep reading.
The Work
You will focus on one of three workstreams — or span multiple, depending on where your strengths land.
1. Qi Youth Forum
Building and running a year-round AI-augmented intelligence community of 500+ curated Gen Z and Gen Alpha members. This is not a Discord server. It is a living intelligence engine that feeds directly into boardroom decisions.
- Recruit and onboard founding members across six contributor archetypes
- Design and run weekly Dilemma Drops that generate high-quality signal
- Build engagement and retention strategies that actually work for this generation
- Develop content and outreach across relevant platforms
- Track signal quality, community health, and contribution metrics
2. Qi Summit
A three-day global event: 500 youth delegates, 50 CEOs, 100K+ digital participants. The Summit culminates in a binding Collective AI Manifesto that corporations commit to implementing. Inaugural event in London. Global tour to follow.
- Research venues, logistics, and production requirements
- Build the delegate recruitment pipeline — finding high-signal Gen Z voices globally
- Develop the Reverse Pitch format, where CEOs pitch to youth commissioners, not the other way around
- Help design War Room facilitation methodology
- Create materials for corporate sponsors and Gen Z delegates alike
- Support partnership and sponsorship outreach
3. Qi Signal Studio
The always-on primary research platform where contributors respond to live strategic challenges from real corporate clients. Studies are live. The intelligence pipeline is running. The boardroom briefs are real.
- Recruit Gen Z contributors to participate in live client studies
- Refine the contributor experience to maximise engagement and signal quality
- Support quality assurance across the intelligence pipeline
- Assist with client-facing materials and new study design
- Feed UX and operational insight that shapes how we scale
What We're Looking For
Critical thinker. You can tell the difference between a genuine cultural shift and a trend cycle. You have a view on AI that goes beyond the headlines — and you can articulate it clearly.
Self-starter. You see a gap and close it without being asked. You don't wait for the brief to be perfect before you move.
AI-literate. You use AI tools as daily infrastructure, not novelty. You understand what AI actually creates — and what it still cannot.
Strong communicator. Your writing is clear, your ideas land in a room, and you can switch register between a social caption and a client document without losing your voice.
Comfortable with ambiguity. This is an early-stage startup. There is no playbook. That is a feature, not a bug — if you are the right person.
Gen Z perspective. You can speak for your generation's relationship with AI, work, and institutions with genuine nuance. Not the version of Gen Z that gets written about. The real one.
Bonus: event production, community building, social media strategy, qualitative research, design, multilingual fluency, or cross-cultural experience.
What You Get
We will be straight with you. This role is unpaid. We are pre-revenue and bootstrapping. Here is what we can offer instead — and we mean all of it:
Direct mentorship from three co-founders with 60+ years of combined experience across military intelligence, Big Four consulting, C-suite executive search, and startup scaling. You will not be managed by a grad scheme coordinator.
Live portfolio work. Everything you build here is real and deployed — client-facing deliverables, event strategy, community architecture, product feedback. You will leave with work you can show.
Network and reference. We will introduce you to people. Corporate C-suites, VC, executive education, policy. And we will back you in writing, specifically and publicly, because we will know exactly what you did.
Equity path. Exceptional contributors who continue beyond the internship have a clear and genuine path to equity participation in Qi.
Flexible structure. Fully remote. Ten to twenty hours per week. Output-focused, not hours-focused.
