Blessed Sacrament Catholic Academy is seeking two dedicated, faith-filled, and collaborative educators for the 2026-2027 school year: one Grade 4 Teacher and one Grade 5 Teacher.

The successful candidates will:

Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction using the Gradual Release model (I Do, We Do, You Do).

Differentiate instruction and use assessment data, including i-Ready, to drive student growth.

Foster a structured, nurturing, and faith-centered classroom rooted in Catholic values.

Maintain strong classroom management, high expectations, and positive relationships with students.

(Grade 4 position only) Prepare students for the New York State ELA and Mathematics Assessments.

Communicate professionally with families and collaborate with colleagues, instructional coaches, and administration.

Participate actively in the faith life of the academy, professional development, school events, and extracurricular opportunities.

Requirements:
BA Degree or Higher
Practicing Catholic in good standing
Background check clearance
Diocese of Brooklyn Code of Conduct and VIRTUS training
Current immunization records
U.S. work authorization
