This person will be responsible for turning preplanned debate topics, meetings, and events into clear, attractive posters, social media posts, and promotional content.
Debate topics and event information will be provided in advance. The Director will not be responsible for planning the debates themselves, but will be responsible for designing, posting, and promoting them in a professional and consistent way. This is an unpaid position.
Main responsibilities include:
Designing posters, flyers, and digital graphics for PDCLA meetings and events
Creating and posting social media content for event promotion
Writing short captions, announcements, and reminders
Keeping PDCLA’s visual style consistent across posts and flyers
Promoting upcoming debates, meetings, and public events
Creating recap posts or simple event updates when needed
Communicating with officers to make sure event details are accurate before posting
Estimated time commitment:
About 2–4 hours per week on average. During heavier event weeks, especially before major debates or recruitment events, this may increase to around 4–6 hours. Some weeks may be lighter if there are no major events to promote.
