We are currently hiring motivated AWS Data Engineers to join our client project in St. Louis, Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using AWS cloud technologies.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT processes for data integration.
- Work with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, and CloudWatch.
- Write efficient SQL queries and perform data analysis.
- Develop data processing solutions using Python.
- Support data migration and cloud modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot data issues and improve pipeline performance.
- Maintain documentation and follow data governance best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in Data Engineering, Cloud, or Software Development.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Knowledge of Python programming.
- Basic understanding of AWS Cloud services.
- Understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PySpark or Apache Spark.
- Familiarity with AWS Glue, Redshift, Lambda, EMR, and Athena.
- Knowledge of Git and Linux.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification is a plus.
