We are currently hiring motivated AWS Data Engineers to join our client project in St. Louis, Missouri.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using AWS cloud technologies.
  • Design and implement ETL/ELT processes for data integration.
  • Work with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, and CloudWatch.
  • Write efficient SQL queries and perform data analysis.
  • Develop data processing solutions using Python.
  • Support data migration and cloud modernization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot data issues and improve pipeline performance.
  • Maintain documentation and follow data governance best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in Data Engineering, Cloud, or Software Development.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Knowledge of Python programming.
  • Basic understanding of AWS Cloud services.
  • Understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with PySpark or Apache Spark.
  • Familiarity with AWS Glue, Redshift, Lambda, EMR, and Athena.
  • Knowledge of Git and Linux.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification is a plus.
