The Fresno County Employees' Retirement Association (FCERA) invites applications for the position of Principal Accountant. Incumbents are responsible for planning, directing, and managing a section or unit within an accounting division and for performing highly specialized and complex accounting, financial, and fiscal management functions.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, economics, or a closely related field with at least 24 semester units or 36 quarter units of accounting coursework that is acceptable within the United States' accredited college or university system.
Experience: Four (4) years of full-time, paid professional accounting experience equivalent to that gained as an Accountant with Fresno County, one (1) year of which must have been in a lead capacity over professional accounting staff.
Substitution: Possession of a master's degree that is acceptable within the United States' accredited college or university system may substitute for one (1) year of the required Accountant experience.
License: Possession of a valid driver's license may be required.
