We're seeking a dynamic and creative Life Enrichment Director to lead and elevate our campus-wide life enrichment programs. In this role, you'll oversee engaging activities, special events, educational opportunities, and community experiences that support residents' social, emotional, and recreational well-being. -Lead the planning and coordination of engaging activities, events, outings, and life enrichment programs across the campus.
-Collaborate with Activity Assistants, Social Workers, and other team members to meet residents' individual interests and needs.
-Oversee and maintain monthly activity calendars for all care areas.
-Supervise, coach, develop, and evaluate Activity Assistant staff.
-Manage departmental staffing schedules and support team performance.
-Develop, implement, and continuously improve activity program policies, procedures, and quality standards.
-Create and monitor the department budget, goals, and annual objectives.
-Order and manage activity supplies and equipment while serving as a resource for programming needs across the organization.
-Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
-Stay current with industry best practices through continuing education and professional development.
-Measure and evaluate program effectiveness to ensure a high-quality resident experience.
Requirements
-2+ years’ managerial experience in developing and implementing social or recreation program
-Experience as a Life Enrichment Director, Activities Director, or similar
-Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Occupational Therapy or
related health care field
-Willing and able to obtain Activities Director Certification (ADC) within one year
-Demonstrated working knowledge of Therapeutic Recreation department
functions and related Federal and State regulations.
-Effective time management/prioritization and problem-solving skills
-Ability to positively manage and communicate change, and to model appropriate.

-Working knowledge of personal computers and related software
-Ability to supervise and provide work direction to staff.
Preferred
-Current or eligible for certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist or registered as an Occupational Therapist preferred.
